CLOSE TO ONE
(words and music by Randall Belt and Brian Kious)

Taste the smell of the firewood it's so good
so good - I knew it would be
Get close in the autumn air and this warm soul
I knew you would - I knew you would be

Take your body and light my love
Let your long hair dangle from above me
and hold on tight - whisper in the night

You and me close to one close to one
Really seems we're close to one
You and me close to one close to one
Really seems we're close to one

Your flame is in my blood its a part of me
you're the heart of me - you're the heart of me
Comes over me like a flood it takes me - into your sea.

And take your body and light my love
Let your long hair dangle from above me
and hold on tight - whisper in the night

You and me close to one close to one
Really seems we're close to one
You and me close to one close to one
Really seems we're close to one

Frosted nights surround this room
Cold street lights call like a groom
Life is bright in your solitude - its a silent tune

You and me close to one close to one
Really seems we're close to one
You and me close to one close to one
Really seems we're close to one

(C) (P) 2011, 2012 Randall Belt (ASCAP) and Brian Kious (ASCAP), Barleyfields Records (ASCAP)

Album - song notes:
words written by and lead vocal sung by Randy, this song is a little autumn-time erotica.
It was written as a companion song to "I Found You", as we tend to write songs in groups.
Randy was inspired to write this batch after watching the movie about Johnny Cash, "Walk The Line".
"I was inspired by the movie in general to write a whole new batch of songs, but the rhythms really
spoke to me and got me started on it.  It was written rather quickly" ~Randy
It was one of the first singles released in summer 2011.
